Makonde Carved "Ujamaa" Three Figures with Head Sculpture

An expertly hand carved sculpture from a single piece of African blackwood locally known as "Mpingo" in the style of "Ujamaa". This carving depicts three figures, a woman and two men honring the village elder. This piece was carved in Kenya and purchased in the 1980's in Diani Beach on the south coast of Kenya.
